How to Make Paper Snowflakes

Fold your paper the required number of times as shown in the fold diagrams.

This example shows the four point fold.

Place your cut out template over the folded paper if your paper is the same size.

Follow Mia's top tip if the paper is a different size.

Use pegs or a couple of pieces of double-sided sticky tape to hold the template in place.

Cut out carefully using sharp scissors.

Open out your paper carefully to see the completed pattern.

You can remove the creases by placing a damp tea towel over the paper and ironing with a warm iron.

Mia’s Craft Ideas

Although white looks great you can try making your snowflakes in different color papers.

Carefully coat your finished cut-out in glue then sprinkle with glitter for a sparkly finish.

You could cover your paper shapes carefully with sticky back plastic then hang them in the windows for a great Xmas decoration.
